Radio Semence celebrated its eleventh year of existence by sponsoring a Crusade on August 16, 17 and 18.
A few hundred participants gathered in the locality of Gris gris to hear God's Word preached and to praise the Lord for His
faithfulness for keeping the Station on the air despite problems of functioning with little electricity and funds.
The Cote de Fer area has no electricity so people are forced to rely on generators and expensive gasoline
to run them. Solar panels are an option, but frequently the target of thieves. Running a Christian Radio Station
here has demanded much prayer and effort on the part of its listeners who send in bits of money to purchase gasoline
so as to continue to hear the encouraging and uplifting music and messages which Semence provides the thousands of people
scattered over 5 Departments of south Haiti.
Seven people came forward during those 3
days of Crusade to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Fifty recommitted their lives to serving Jesus.
The six Christian schools that we assist are gearing up to start a new school year for 2013-2014.
We hope and pray that those who have sponsored Haitian children to attend school will do so another year.
Dariol clinic is still providing care and service to the sick in and around Dariol with our compassionate
staff.
The 4 churches which we planted are growing, and one of the Pastors, Rodrigue Paul
is receiving his recognition and papers from the government which will allow him to perform marriages and register newborns.
Thank you all for continuing to support our efforts to spread the Gospel of Jesus among the people of
Haiti and to serve them.
