Where is the rain?
This spring there was not much rain and the summer has been unkind to
the people in the Cote de Fer area.....dust is too abundant!
To an agricultural area, a dry season
can spell disaster. Please pray for the showers to start falling and something can be grown.
The Cote de Fer area is south of the mountain chain that runs east-west along the southern peninsula. Many
times rain will fall on the mountains but not fall further south on their fields.
There
is no irrigation in Dariol, so they are hurting. Please pray for them and remember how important it is to sponsor
a school child in our schools as the parents will certainly not have much to spare for paying tuition. A school child
can be sponsored with $20/month over the 10 month school term that is $200.
You can send donations to the address that can be found on the contact us area of the webpage's home page. We could
use your help!

Many THANKS.......!
Another school year has finished and the annual July-August vacation is on.
Thanks to the sponsors of over 250 school kids, who made it possible for them to enjoy another year of Christian education!
The funds which were donated helped to keep 6 Christian schools open and working
to bring the light of Christ not only to the kids, but their parents and communities as well.
Each
school serves as a base for evangelistic outreach to the communities in which they are located. They thereby serve the
dual purpose of educating the children AND bringing the Gospel to their respective areas where they function. Overtime,
child by child, the demographics of Haiti will change. Haiti will become a Christian nation. The Radio Station
we support also serves to get the Gospel out through its Christian programming. Radio Semence has beautiful evangelical
music and messages which further the spread of the Gospel, as well. It needs help in the way of funds to purchase fuel
for our generator to keep the transmitter going.
We hope that
you will be willing to help us to continue to serve the people of Haiti by bringing the Light of Christ to that country.

Wonderful Visit
I was able to attend the Missions Fair at Falling Spring Presbyterian Church in Chambersburg, PA on July 9
largely through the capable efforts of Lois Drexler and her family who planned and arranged my trip down to the smallest detail.
Jan Kovacevic picked me up at my house and drove me to the Greyhound Bus Terminal in Pittsburgh and even packed a bag of snacks
for me. Her husband, Rob, picked me up at the Bus Station on my return and took me home again. MANY THANKS!
When I arrived in Harrisburg, I was met by Barry Drexler, who drove me to his and Lois' home in Fayetteville near
Chambersburg. MANY THANKS to them for their wonderful hospitality in their beautiful home. After I arrived, Lois served
me a tasty lunch and then we arranged my photo display for the Missions Fair. Soon after that we were off to the
church. Lois had brought things to arrange my display table in the Haitian flag colors of blue and red. In
fact, it was the best table.
Each of the 5 missionaries present were allotted around 10 minutes to talk about their
work, then the audience was able to ask questions of each missionary while they stood by their display table.
Many THANKS to Stephanie Salisbury, who is my contact at Falling Spring and who has been tireless in her efforts to keep
the Haitian students sponsored. We were able to get 2 students who had lost sponsors re-sponsored. Thank
you, Stephanie for all your efforts on behalf of the kids!
Many Thanks to the Missions Committee who invited me
to attend this function and who have supported Gospel Growers ministries!
