After several months without rain, things are starting to look green again as the weather has changed, raising
the hopes of farmers that they soon be able to plant. Many areas of Haiti have been experiencing drought conditions.
As Haiti is largely an agricultural country it has been very hard on the majority of the population.
Plans
are already being made by many churches for the celebration of Resurrection Sunday, otherwise known as Easter. The start
of Holy Week is a time when many churches hold special services culminating in the baptism of new believers.
Good Friday is also an important day for Christians when they pause to remember how their Lord Jesus willingly gave
up His life as a sacrifice for the sins of the whole world so that all people could again approach God and be forgiven
for Sin and sins and be restored to fellowship with God. Only the death and Resurrection of Jesus makes this possible.
Jesus opened a way for all people to become a member of God's family and receive everlasting life.
If
you haven't yet accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour and Lord, now is the day to do so. Signs are indicating
that the Age of Grace is soon to finish, ushering in the 7 years of Judgement called the Tribulation. All those who
have already recieved Christ as Saviour will be taken up in what is called the Rapture Event and they will escape this terrible
time. Don't be left behind. Come to Christ now!
