After a seeming to experience a recovery from his spiritual battle, Nobrin has slipped back again. He
was starting to show signs of agitation on Tuesday to the point that family had him taken to Cote de Fer where a doctor gave
him an injection to calm him. On Wednesday his wife went to get water from the well leaving their infant son sleeping
on a mat with Nobrin. When she returned and checked on the baby, he was dead. The prevailing thought is that Nobrin
smothered the baby. The other children have been taken to grandmother's home. It is said that while we had
been praying for God to heal Nobrin, some members of the family had gone in the opposite direction, going to see the witchdoctor
to achieve a cure. Apparently, the spiritual battle is on again.
Please lift Nobrin and his family up in
prayer that God will deliver him and the family from under Satan's power. Haitians are very superstitious, and there
is a tendency to suspect magic when things go wrong. In any case, they must learn to depend solely on God when under
attack and not revert to the traditional ways of their ancestors.
Many thanks to all who continue to pray for and support this ministry. It is getting more difficult and
expensive to engage in missions these days. Our Radio Station was not in service for a couple of weeks due equipment
failure. However, after much prayer and some costly expense, the station started up again yesterday much to the delight
of our listeners.
Please pray for my nephew, Daniel Guerriero, who has been ill and finally diagnosed with eosinophilic
collitis. Its been very hard on him as its painful and has resulted in his missing a good deal of school.
We
are also in need of rain again, so help us lift this need up to the Lord.
Things have been fairly quiet lately. Satan had been stirring things up between people causing disputes,
Nobrin's spiritual battle etc, but prayers are having an effect.
Yesterday, I walked to the nearby community of
Bodary where a flare up of the cholera epidemic had caused one death, and 10 hospitalizations. I preached in a small
church there from Matthew 22--the parabol of the marriage reception. This seemed appropriate what with the "wedding
ring " eclipse that was to occur that day.
Jesus is soon to return to claim His bride, the church. This
event is called the Rapture. Everything from current events on earth and in the heavens are indicating this will happen
soon.
The important part of the parabol was the wedding garment. We must be "dressed" in the righteousness
of Christ which we receive from God when we are born again spiritually. Many will try to crash the reception dressed
in their own righteousness which they have tried to create through religious observances and works. But this will not
do. These people will be thrown out as gate crashers.
Please make use of the time that is left to get right
with the Lord. Repent and reject the lies this world is dishing up for popular consumption. Rely on GOD'S Word
alone!
This text is from the letter of Paul to the Galatians:
"May grace and peace be yours from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. He died for our sins, just
as God our Father planned, in order to rescue us from this evil world in which we live. That is why all glory belongs
to God through all the ages of eternity, Amen!
I am shocked that you are turning away so soon from God, who in
His love and mercy called you to share the eternal life he gives through Jesus Christ. You are already following a different
way that pretends to be the Good News but is not the Good News at all. You are being fooled by those who twist and change
the truth concerning Christ.
Let God's curse fall on anyone, including myself, who preaches any other message than
the one we told you about. Even if an angel comes from heaven and preaches any other message, let him be forever cursed.
OBVIOUSLY, I AM NOT TRYING TO BE A PEOPLE PLEASER! NO, I AM TRYING TO PLEASE GOD, IF I WERE STILL TRYING
TO PLEASE PEOPLE, I WOULD NOT BE CHRIST'S SERVANT."

POLITICAL CORRECTNESS IS
NOT A CHRISTIAN ATTRIBUTE!
I was able to visit Nobrin yesterday and I found him on a sleeping mat taking a nap with his infant son beside
him. He was in control and able to respond normally. We prayed with him and encouraged him to continue to call
on Jesus name. He had lost weight during his spiritual bout, but is now taking food.
The rain has
made Dariol green, but the drawback is mosquitos. Some have already experienced malaria fever, including me, but Chloroquinn
still helps after a 3 day dose. I never wait for a full blown attack, I've learned to recognize the symptoms.
As soon as I begin to feel it coming on I start taking the medicine.
Please continue to hold me up in prayer because
I seem to be a lightening rod for Satanic persecution. With your prayers I will overcome! If our work was not
irking his infernal majesty, he'd ignore us. So we must be having a positive effect!
As a student of prophecy (Biblical) for many years its exciting to see the ongoing events that are occurring
one after another that show that God's Word is true. Few churches study the book of Revelations or other prophetic portions
of Holy scripture and that's why most people have no idea of what is fast coming upon them.
Society is being dumbed
down by frothy and frivolous entertainment such as Mad Men, American Idol, The Voice, and the tabloids. As it was in
Noah's time mankind is busily occupied in personal affairs while the Deluge is about to come upon them. Its kind of
like the chicken focused on the ground and greedily pecking away while the hawk is descending upon it.
The
Lord told His disciples to be watchful as His return would be sudden but He did warn them to be aware of the "signs of
the times" that would herald His approach. Events would occur with greater frequency and severity as that date
aprroached as when a woman is starting to experience contractions before giving birth.
You'd have to be blind not
to realize the increasing earthquakes, strange weather, unexplained fish, bird and animal deaths, increasing immorality,
declining interest or outright hostility to Christianity, the recent eroding of our Constitutional rights and other signs
that we are about to fall into a dictatorship, and that the economy is being steered into the abyss, all point to
the fact that we are reaching the point of Jesus return. If you were familiar with the Bible teachings on the End Times,
none of these things are surprising or frightening.
GOD IS IN CONTROL--everything is happening just as He said
it would. Mankind thinks that it is the master of its own destiny, but very soon they will have to admit that this is
a lie. Soon the pages of Revelations will become clearer. The period of Grace is coming to a close.
I
cannot stress strongly enough how important it is to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ NOW while there is time left
to do so. God has made it possible for mankind to be restored from their state of SIN by repenting of their disobedience
and believing in Jesus Christ who came to die on the cross in their place for their sins. There is NO OTHER WAY to be
reconciled to God. In John 8:24 Jesus says it all--"If you do not believe that I am who I say I am, you
will all perish in your sins." Jesus is Saviour, Redeemer, Lord of Lords, King of Kings. Come to Him now
in an attitude of repentence, receive Him as your personal Saviour and your place in heaven will be assured.
